Integrations
Connect VoicePuppet to the tools you already stream with. Every integration is optional.
Where to find them
Open Integrations in the VoicePuppet sidebar. Each integration has a card with a short description, what it needs, its status and the buttons to set it up. Most cards have an on/off switch. Turn on only the integrations you use, and the others stay out of your way.
Start on the card. Its Setup guide button opens the matching guide here.
What the status means
| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Not set up yet | VoicePuppet cannot find the plugin, mod or import that the integration needs. | Follow the setup steps in the integration’s guide. |
| “Waiting for …” or Not connected | Nothing is connected yet. | Finish the setup steps, then start the other app. Most integrations reconnect by themselves. |
| Connected | The integration works. | Nothing. |
| Needs attention or Update needed | An update is available, or the two sides are too far apart in version to connect. | Read the details on the card. They say if it still works and what to update. |
| Disabled or Off | You turned the integration off. | Turn it on again when you want it. |
Turning on, off and uninstalling
- Turning an integration on lets VoicePuppet use it. It does not install anything. The card then shows the next step, such as installing a plugin or importing a file.
- Updates work differently for each integration. Each guide’s Updating section explains how. When VoicePuppet installs something for you, such as a game mod, the card offers the update and you decide when to install it. The Stream Deck app updates plugins from the Elgato Marketplace.
- Turning an integration off stops VoicePuppet from using it. Your files, settings and layouts stay, so you can turn it on again and continue where you stopped.
- Uninstalling is a separate step. Each guide explains what it removes. It never removes anything that VoicePuppet did not install.
When something does not work
- Read the status and the message on the card. They name the problem.
- Check that both apps are running on the same computer and the same Windows account.
- If the card has a reconnect or test button, click it.
- Read the Troubleshooting section at the end of the integration’s guide.
- If the card says to sign in, open VoicePuppet account in VoicePuppet.
